Re: Download FairUse4WM - to strip DRM protection from Windows Media Player 10,11 WMV

Hi!

Please help me to understand how to use .
I have a film in wmv-format. This film was bought absolutely legally and successfully played on Windows Media Player. A legal copy of Windows XP is installed on my PC. I want to convert this film to DVD-format to watch it on my home TV.
When I try to crack this file, WMP is loading, the film begins to play, a FairUse4WM window is hanged, and nothing happens more.
When I try to close WMP manually FairUse4WM shows message box:

Unhandled situation -9000 while Creating Windows Media instance.

What should I do?

Versions:
Windows Media Player
9.00.00.3354

IndivBox.key
11.0.5497.6285

FairUse4WM.exe
1.0.1.0

Please answer me anybody who knows!

Mikhail, I have never seen any problem like this. You should use the latest version of FairUse4WM - fu4wm 1.3 fix-2.

And you can always use freeme2 or lossy
DRM removal software and screen video capture software instead of fu4wm.

Much thanks, friends!

I have downloaded a newer version of FairUse4WM, and everything was O.K.
I have no more questions.

Re: freeme2 - free software to remove DRM protection from Windows Media WMA,WMV,ASF f

Hey Stream Recorder, since you seem to be the most knowledgeable person reading this thread, do you think you could help me with my problem?

when i first ran FairUse4WM, it automatically extracted the keys, but for reasons beyond my control i had to change them, and i'm not sure of how to find what my new ones are. any suggestions?

What is your IBX version? Can you post the log of your Mirakagi?

My question seems to have been abandoned a page upthread, so I'll try asking again and see if anyone has an answer:

I need to re-extract keys with FairUse4WM. How do I do this?

Re: Download FairUse4WM - to strip DRM protection from Windows Media Player 10,11 WMV

I finally gave up on FairUse4WM
...

apparently my problem no one can help with here and at other forums i asked...

so i started using Daniusoft Digital Media Converter...which work ok...but it takes too long to remove/record music and or videos...

so any news of a new FairUse? or anything similar and as fast as fairuse?...

it has been a while since anyone has come up with anything new and with all the Microsoft tricks coming out to stop software like this one..they seem to be getting ahead...

we need some new stuff...did the tech guys that created fairuse and previous software like this one..gave up???

Re: Download FairUse4WM - to strip DRM protection from Windows Media Player 11 WMP

I have updated to WMP 11 that makes it so FairUse4WM does not work anymore. I know that the only way for it to work is with an older version of WMP, but I cannot downgrade because the newest Zune software (3.0) requires the WMP update. I cannot downgrade the Zune software (which would then allow me to downgrade WMP), and am wanting to know if there is anyway around this? If there is no updated version of FairUse that can deal with this, is there another DRM protection remover I can use?
