Recording music videos from mnet.com (p3mxv:// .wmv)

http://www.mnet.com is the site i'm trying to get my videos....might be a good choice for you if you like watchin music videos,..etc...but my question is do you know any good stream recorders out there that can get the video URL from this site, instead of having to screen record it??....i've tried URL Helper v2.5, WM Recorder v11.2 ...these 2 which i love to use alot...couldn't do me any good on the site...i thought maybe somebody can test the site out for me??..PLEASE!!

..just login(just use the one i gave you).

Admin: Please PM K._love4life for the login and password

..you will have to install CJ music(activex) thingy

..then go to music videos at the top...and type in an artist(siinger) name..american, korean, chinese, etc..

.im hoping someone from here can help me out..THANX...

this link below was the one i got using URL helper 2.5..and then on i couldnt detect anymore URL..no flv, no swf, no nothing similar to a video file...

Is it the Chinese language on the web-site? I just can't understand anything.

Have you tried Replay Media Catcher? It could be a flash .FLV video streamed through RTMP protocol.

Uhmm...if it were a FLV file i think WMR 11.2 would detect it and URL helper also....but then im not sure....seems like this site is professional made and i can't get that dumb URL...^_^..

You may find rtmp:// URLs with freeware URL Snopper. And you may find RTMP mp3 and flv URLs (and record from them) with Replay Media Catcher. As for WMRecorder, it can find HTTP .flv video stream URLs only, it doesn't support RTMP protocol.

It could be a proprietory player, but I can't check it for you out 'coz I don't understand the language.

Re: Recording music videos from mnet.com (p3mxv:// .wmv)

i tried the replay media catcher...it didnt work...i think its even worser than wmr 11 and URL helper...but then i havent tried URL snooper...isnt it the same thing as URL helper??..cuz i read this one discription on both oof them and it said the same thing.......about the site it's a korean site,i can't understand the language either just like you but i just manage to get through it....its very simple to login...but they only allow you to watch like 3 videos a day...thats why i made alot of differnt user name and PW's...=)...

HOW TO LOGIN....

1. use the username and password i've given you or PM me if u dont have it
( type it in near the top left corner, USERNAME FIRST, THEN PW, then click on the green box)

2. Install the CJ Music activex thingy(when it pops up)...

3. Click on Music Video..at the top of the page

4. it should take you to a different page...just scroll down and click on any of the pictures below...the Site Player should pop up and start loading...while your "??? recorder" is running..

Hopefully you can make it that far so we both are on the same page alright..

RTMP is used for Flash streams only. RTSP is used for Windows Media, Real Media and some other streams.

Just try the Replay Media Catcher. If it doesn't work you may also try to analyze packets with Proxomitron.

You can use wget (http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/) to download the video
wget "http://210.122.109.171/high_movie/48_39/sm/83000/83635.wmv"

Actually you can use any download managers 'coz this web-site uses HTTP protocol. You can download it even with your browser.

And wget is a command line utility so it is not a good idea for novice users to use it. There are many freeware download managers that can be used instead.
