Problem with Replay Media Catcher: RMC disables Firefox and I.E. web-browsers

When I run Replay Media Catcher, it appears to disable my web browser. I've tried starting the browser first, starting RMC first, recording before and after starting the web browser, and have tried both Internet Explorer and Firefox with the same result.

On some occasions RMC will work, but usually clicking on the record button results in the web browser becoming unable to load any data at all. I'm using windows XP Professional and a fully registered version of Replay Media Catcher.

Can anyone help? thanks..... wildaussieboy

That's weird. Please remember that you have a 30 day unconditional money back guarantee.

What version of Flash Player do you have? Try to get the latest one.
What versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox do you have?

What exactly do you mean by Replay Media Catcher disabling your browser? Does your browser freezes? Does it stop receiveing streaming data for the embedded player or any data including HTML pages?

Do you have WinPcap installed? If you don't then you should install it. I had something similar when I had unistalled WinPcap, then I installed it back and the problems gone.

Re: Problem with Replay Media Catcher: RMC disables Firefox and I.E. web-browsers

I am currently having the same issue. If Replay Media Catcher is running, recording or not, no web pages will load. Just says "Done" at the bottom, can't go back or forward. I did reinstall the WinPcap thing and even specifically clicked exe to start, but it made no difference.
I'm running WinXP sp2, tried on firefox (2.0.0.14) and IE. I did try the trial before purchasing through "trialpay" and it seemed okay. Just wondering if the Firefox update might have messed it up? Can't recall if I did it in between the "working" and "not working".
Any help would be appreciated.

And when you close Replay Media Catcher or Stop recording, your web browsers start working normally?

I actually have to close Media Catcher and restart my browser. Just stopping recording and closing isn't enough. If I start Media Catcher prior to opening browser (without even starting recorder) no web page will load. I've repeatedly emptied the cache, etc.
