HD capture device for Macbook (Component & HDMI to usb 2, firewire 800, Thunderbolt)Hello,
I have Camcorder Panasonic ag-hmc41e, it has Component and HDMI video out. I need to stream HD video to my Macbook Pro(2011) it has usb 2, firewire 800 and Thunderbolt ports. I'am trying to find the cheapest option. So far I have found Blackmagic UltraStudio 3D($995), Blackmagic H.264 Pro Recorder($495) Are there other options? What about ethernet port, can it be used to stream HD video into macbook pro? |

Re: HD capture device for Macbook (Component & HDMI to usb 2, firewire 800, ThunderboFor recording 1080i and 720p video from component input, you may use USB 2.0 devices:
For recording 720p/1080i/1080p video from HDMI you may use Blackmagic H.264 Pro Recorder. It is a USB 2.0 device as well. |

Re: HD capture device for Macbook (Component & HDMI to usb 2, firewire 800, ThunderboI was also looking for something like this but the prices are very expensive. It's not worth it in these conditions
