Waiting on confirmation that a new version fixes the existing Hulu problem. I'm reluctant to upgrade my version until I'm sure it will work.

It was so hit and miss with hulu (forget the + part) and to top it off lol I have to renew my subscription to them again to use their program? and two days later it quit working...

it'll only download the previews
and record mode never works...

how many times do we need
to download the new one

As for people having problems with downloading from Hulu / Hulu+... while GetFLV isn't the most stable program, crashing or freezing more often than not, it's STILL the only program I know of that can download from Hulu successfully, albeit it painstakingly. There are plenty of other people who are still using it. Part of the problem is that it requires a good deal of patience. It also requires constant upgrading - whether actually necessary or not - every time Flash updates on your system. Definitely sucks, but again, if someone knows of another program that can download and decrypt Hulu streams, including subtitles, please let us all know.

I do feel for those who aren't technically inclined, as this program will definitely scare you away due to how frustrating it is to use. In addition, there are still plenty of issues with it such as the inability to download a full HD movie without having to use a number of tricks to do so (and even then there's no guarantee), the subtitles issue I've mentioned when using the Desktop, not displaying ALL available streams on a consistent basis (not just with Hulu either), and of course the freezing and constant need to upgrade every few days in order for it to keep working properly, to name the ones off the top of my head.

Which I why I've suggested previously for GetFLV to sniff out ALL the streams WITHOUT needing to use the Desktop. I know it can be done, as the program ADownloader can see them without using the Desktop (it does require using a Hulu+ login though), but cannot download the stream. It just sits there restarting over and over.

last i checked hulu subs could be got manually without any software. its all in the page source.

I just downloaded 9.8.171.18, so I hope that's it.

EDIT: Nope, still will only show links for the ads, and the video playback window still goes blank when the main video is expected to start.

This was the video I tried: Mr. Robot http://www.hulu.com/watch/831290

2nd Update: I did get a couple of 650K streams to show up in the list for an episode of The Whispers, but only once. I can't reproduce it for any other episode.

Final analysis: It appears to be working intermittently on ABC shows like The Whispers, but on shows that require a provider login (like Mr. Robot, Defiance, White Collar), it still doesn't work.

Can anyone else try these shows and verify?

I can't get episodes anymore with my Hulu+ account too
I only get 640k links for the preview of the episode, and full subtitles for people outsite the USA
Also the videos don't play/appear in getflv latest version, but do in chrome when you click a moment and start playing

For hulu normal, I get the links, but max is 1000k, and download fine
