I generally get 130KB/s and my download does not stop, yes it takes a long time but download is completed without any problem. Also i make sure to dont use anything when the download is going on. Maybe your connection is like that.

I downloading from voot with speed 2.5 MB/s average,
though speed of my internet is higher

tried this method. but the download stops in between though i don't receive any error. initially it resumed download after some time but later it just stops though no error is returned
