Can't download dancingbear.com videosI have a subscription to this site, but unfortunately my internet connection is not fast enough to stream the videos. There are all sorts of interruptions. The site doesn't provide downloading of clips. The files are Flash Video, and they are played in Flowplayer. I have tried to save the flash videos after they get done playing via my temporary internet files in Internet Explorer, but I am not able to. I tried using the Orbit Downloader in Firefox to save the files as they are playing, but the "get it" button doesn't recognize it as a file that can be saved. People on the internet are picking off these files in some fashion, because many of them can be found through googling them, but there are a couple I can't find anywhere and I would really like to save them to my hard drive. Any help would be appreciated.
And no I don't have rtmpdump or whatever is. I have no idea where to get it, or even if it can be used to download and save flash video from the dancingbear site. |

Flash Player can play HTTP, RTMP and secure RTMPE streams: How to record rtmp:// flash video .flv stream from embedded Adobe Flash Player Getting/Capturing/Downloading .FLV flash videos streamed through the HTTP protocol RTMPE stream recording/downloading/capturing/ripping/saving I suggest you to try to download videos from dancingbear with Replay Media Catcher and Jaksta. You can also try freeware CooJah + Blader and TubeMaster++. If you are computer savvy, you can try to use rtmpdump. |

Re: Can't download dancingbear.com videosThanks. One of your suggestions worked. Now the problem is finding a FLV player that will play those 1.21GB clips without problems, but I'll bring that over to the media player forum.....

Re: Can't download dancingbear.com videosCooJah + Blader works, but there are problems playing files? Please report a bug to the developer of the above mentioned programs.
You can also try other programs. If you only want to use freeware RTMP stream recording software, you can try Orbit Downloader and Grab Pro, rtmpdump. If you're willing to pay for a stream recording program and its support, you can try WM Recorder, Jaksta, Replay Media Catcher. |
