Calculating bandwidth for streamingHello,
I'm new with streaming servers and I'm working in a project of video/audio live streaming, and I would like to know how to calculate the bandwidth I would need. These are the specifications of the streaming:video: VP6, 320x240 px, bitrate 200KBs.Audio: MP3,mono,22khz,bitRate 64KBs. I'm not sure about the online users I will have, so I would like to calculate the bandwidth, for example, If I have need 50, 100 and 200 users. Thanks for your help! |

Re: Calculating bandwidth for streamingHello there,
It is really easy to calculate bandwidth with : http://www.dacast.com/streaming-pricing-calculator.html DaCast is a broadcasting platform so if you are looking for one, try it for free for first month and I am sure you will love it. If you are not sure about the amount bandwidth you should try their pay as you go plan and keep adding bandwidth as you need. Sinead |
