Calculating bandwidth for streaming

Hello,

I'm new with streaming servers and I'm working in a project of video/audio live streaming, and I would like to know how to calculate the bandwidth I would need.

These are the specifications of the streaming:video: VP6, 320x240 px, bitrate 200KBs.Audio: MP3,mono,22khz,bitRate 64KBs.

I'm not sure about the online users I will have, so I would like to calculate the bandwidth, for example, If I have need 50, 100 and 200 users.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Calculating bandwidth for streaming

Hello there,

It is really easy to calculate bandwidth with : http://www.dacast.com/streaming-pricing-calculator.html

DaCast is a broadcasting platform so if you are looking for one, try it for free for first month and I am sure you will love it. If you are not sure about the amount bandwidth you should try their pay as you go plan and keep adding bandwidth as you need.
