avtech kpd 677b password reset

hi guys, i need help on how to reset the password on my avtech kpd 677b

i bought this brand new just last week, i entered the same password for the admin and operator users, now the problem is i cannot access the dvr menu because whenever i input the password it does not go to admin user, it always goes to operator user.

i tried entering the default 0000 but its says password error.

i also saw the hardware reset manual on the avtech website but there is none for the kpd 677b... only for the kpd 677.. their board is different

its been more than a week and i really cant solve this problem, so i hope you guys can help..
