You can download the free ZappoTV app from the App Store. It is available for iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch. Is has streaming for YouTube, SHOUTcast, Facebook Videos, Local Media Servers and Video Podcasts.

With the ZappoTV app you can easily search and find interesting content from many sources and watch it on a selected TV in your home (or elsewhere … maybe at work? ... or at your friends?)

The ZappoTV app allows to enjoy your Internet and home media content right on TV! You can enjoy videos from YouTube or watch your favorite podcasts. You can access photos from your Flickr or Picasa Web Albums account, as well as photos and videos from your Facebook account. In addition, you are able to listen to music on TV from straight from your iPhone or from SHOUTcast.

The ZappoTV app lets you enjoy all this great content in ONE single easy-to-navigate place. Here are the sections you will find in the app:

• Devices > This is where you can select the device you would like to use to access your TV.
• Now Playing > This screen shows you your viewing progress along with some player controls and information about the content you are watching.
• Browse > This is where you will search for and find all your great stuff! Content from Facebook, Picasa Web Albums, Flickr, SHOUTcast, YouTube, your mobile device, and content from your home network. All in one single place!
• MyZappoTV > Here you can change settings, manage your favorites, and check your viewing history.
• Help > This is where you will find additional information if needed, or contact info to get in touch with us. Let us know how we are doing!

Things to know

• Similar to new text messages, available updates, and unread emails, the ZappoTV app will let you know when new content from a source or series that you have have marked as “favorite” is available.
• The history will list your activity feed from multiple content sources and devices, making it is easy to watch previous viewed photos and videos once again. It’s just a few simply clicks away.
• More sources and content to come

Requirements

• iPhone (3G, 3GS), iPhone 4 or iPod touch (4th Generation) with iOS 4.
• Internet connection (Wi-Fi). You will have limited functionality when you only have 3G.
• One of the ZappoTV compatible connected devices (see below for details).

For starters we chose the media players from Western Digital (available at any major technology retailer), which include:
- WD TV Live,
- WD TV Live Plus,
- WD TV Live Hub
We are planning to grow the list of supported devices at a fast pace.
