yourotherteacher

I can't find a way to save the videos i'm watching. yourotherprofessor.com Other than the good old screening method (takes forever, especially when there's billions of videos that I want to save, all educational videos)

I wasn't able to access yourotherprofessor.com, Can you please provide me with the URL of the audio or video you're trying to record, so I can trouble shoot the issue?

Re: yourotherteacher

Actual website is http://www.yourotherteacher.com and the webpage i tested on is http://videos.yourotherteacher.com/swf-format/matlab(T1-6-5).html.

these videos are contained within swf files. actually they contain flash animation rather than standard video format. save the swf file to save the video.
Code:
http://videos.yourotherteacher.com/swf-format/matlab(T1-6-5)_controller.swf?csConfigFile=matlab(T1-6-5)_config.xml

Re: yourotherteacher

the following command will get you lecture audio.
Code:
rtmpdump -r "rtmp://videoserver.yourotherteacher.com/whiteboard/lectures" -a "whiteboard/lectures" -W "http://www.yourotherteacher.com/lm/swf/whiteboardplayer.swf" -p "http://www.yourotherteacher.com/lmPlayer.html?vID=36830" -y "iaanvfyr2g" -o Test.flv
as far as the video part is concerned there is no actual video to download just flash animation over static images. can't suggest anything else than screen capturing for video part.

Re: yourotherteacher

Would you know how I can set up a scheduled screen capture video session? I've been trying to figure that one out too... as you can see, i'm unsuccessful.

Re: yourotherteacher

i haven't tried any screen capturing tool myself but scheduler looks like a pretty basic feature for any commercial product.
