www.movieflix.com: How to record streaming videos (Windows Media Player, Real Player)

How to record streaming videos from movieflix.com. The web-site offers streaming in Windows Media Player and Real Player. What software is better for recording such streams? Whcih format is easier to record, the one that is used in Windows Media Player or Real Player? Which format is better for converting to DVD and portable devices?

Re: www.movieflix.com: How to record streaming videos (Windows Media Player, Real Pla

I don't have any membership at movieflix.com, so I don't really know whether they use any DRM protection or not. I prefer Windows Media streams to Real Media, they are easier to record and convert.

I prefer to record Windows Media streams with WM Recorder. I can also recommend freeware WebVideoCap and shareware Jaksta.

I don't think it is a good idea to convert videos from movieflix.com to DVD, but you can try freeware convert Windows Media .WMV or .ASF videos to DVD using freeware DVDFlick.

To convert to portable devices you may use WM Converter , Jaksta or freeware MediaCoder. Please let me know what kind of portable devices you have so that I can make a better suggestion.
