www.1047fm.ca: Radio station stream: flv file(104,7 FM Le FM Parlé de l'Outaouais)

The audio streaming I captured from 1047fm.ca radio station (104,7 FM Le FM Parlé de l'Outaouais) is recorded in FLV format. While I would rather record in mp3 format, I cannot even convert the recorded flv file to mp3 format.

Questions:

Is it possible to record from the streaming URL in mp3 format?

In the event that it is not possible, is there an easy way of converting the recorded flv file to mp3?

I had problem extracting MP3 from FLV from this web-site with Replay Media Catcher. I received an error that there were no MP3 frames found.
You may also try to use other software that can extract MP3 files from FLV files. Or you can use an audio/video converter instread. I was able to convert FLV to MP3 with Media Catcher, for example.

And you can always record audio in MP3 format with direct sound recording software. Such programs can record any sound produced by your sound card.
