Windows Media Services: How to set up a user(NOT administrator) to remotely broadcastHi all, found this thread after failing to find my answer on Google, so here goes:-
I have a dedicated Windows 2003 server with windows media services running. I created a publishing point, and also a user for Live PUSH broadcasting. However, this only work accross the internet via Windows Media Encoder if the user is in the Administrators group. I created a user group for this on the server, and added this user on DCOM level to media services to remotely instantiate the session, but it still dont work. Is there any way of setting up a user, which is NOT in the administrators group to remotely broadcast happily to my media server? |
