how to watch/play or and record Ipad, Iphone streams on the PC (m3u8; wowza)

Anyone have ideas on how to watch/play or and record iPad, Iphone streams on the PC ?

they seem to use m3u8 and wowza stream servers.

Noticed just lately a lot of "free" live tv content is now being streamed to these devices..!
