MSN is switching more and more streams to Smooth Streaming v.2. There are no programs I know that can download or capture such streams. I can only suggest to use screen video capture software for recording Smooth Streaming v.2 videos.

Replay Media Catcher 4.0.17 supports Smooth Streaming MajorVersion 2. Try to download MSN videos with it. It works fine for me.
