Using youtube-dl for nbc videos

I'm experimenting with youtube-dl and it appears to download a .flv file but when I try to run it, VLC, MPC, MediaPlayer etc can't find a stream. Am I doing something wrong? I tried converting the file using youtube-dl and ffmpeg but it says it can't find a stream either. The file is about 555mb in size. What am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same issue. It downloads fine but is not a recognized flv file.

I don't think that link is valid anymore, maybe they took the video down. AdobeHDS worked for other "Classic" episodes.
