<server>http://iviewmetered-vh.akamaihd.net/z/</server>
<bwtest>http://iviewmetered-vh.akamaihd.net/z/</bwtest>

I see these are different and maybe need to be substituted in place of:

rtmp://cp53909.edgefcs.net////flash/playback/_definst_/

somehow, maybe, in server calls

[Edit]

Or specifically
iviewmetered-vh.akamaihd.net
Instead of
cp53909.edgefcs.net

I don't know if the /z/ comes into play.

Re: How to use iView (ABC Australia) downloaders

I wonder if this recent change is related to the announcement that Iview is introducing "Links to Buy" for items that are outside the normal availability window. http://iview.abc.net.au/support/announcements

Re: How to use iView (ABC Australia) downloaders

Someone else already posted Telstra, but here is mine:

<ip>xx.xx.xx.xx</ip>
<isp>Telstra</isp>
<desc>Telstra</desc>
<host>Akamai</host>
<server>http://iviewmetered-vh.akamaihd.net/z/</server>

playback/_definst_/
<text>Telstra does not yet offer iview unmetered.</text>
<free>no</free>
</iview>

As a side note, I can use Internet Download Manager to download the stream - even though it looks like I am getting a flv file, it's actually a mp4.

Here are the IDM download properties of The Checkout S03E01:

h t t p : //iviewmetered-vh.akamaihd.net/z/playback/_definst_/_video/checkout_03_01_,650000,495000,205000,40346,.mp4.cs mil/0_e68d223eb3b2d7e4_Seg%ld-Frag%ld?pvtoken=exp%3D9999999999%7Eacl%3D%252f%252 a%7Edata%3DZXhwPTE0MjkxMTY4NDB+YWNsPSUyZip+ZGF0YT1 wdmMsc35obWFjPWNhZDJmOThmYTZjZmE3Nzc3NDZmMTVhMmI2N jczMDE0MzdkNGI5ZGY4NGQ4Y2M2NDJhNjdkYjlkOWM3MTIzNmE %3D%21JcOmp/+8TJ9xOWqc00wwHa8eNHAGGmEDqJlXNJ44PWc%3D%7Ehmac%3D 4BD8B41989954BD0C7466F35E3B7A70C1622905DA9F8E46045 BF47292E9817F9&hdntl=exp=1429116840~acl=%2f*~data= hdntl~hmac=247cc7eb882881cc4928fdf88f7a7cdab0be3f9 ce8d3d76e3bc22167aa2db507&hdcore=2.11.3

And here is the batch file that iviewnapper generates, but fails to get anything:

rtmpdump-win32-2.3r557.exe -r rtmp://cp53909.edgefcs.net////flash/playback/_definst_/checkout_03_01.mp4 -t rtmp://cp53909.edgefcs.net/ondemand?auth="daEdjaEbEcWamd.aRbKbvbId8bQbnckakce-bvltQ.-8-skl_rGznH&aifp=v001" -o "The Checkout Series 3 Episode 1.mp4" -W "http://www.abc.net.au/iview/images/iview.jpg"

Is it a possibility that the newer files are now being supplied by iviewmetered-vh.akamaihd.net ?

I hope this helps

Cheers, DMan

Re: How to use iView (ABC Australia) downloaders

dman, how do you use Internet Download Manager to get an iView show?
I assume you need to go to the iView player, and that it can capture the show as it begins to play - not forcing you to wait while the 30 minutes or so is shown?
