Upload my nature films on Vimeo and Youtube

I like shooting some nature films, nature always has some fabulous scenes to enjoy, the sunset, cloud, trees, unknown flowers etc. I used this Canon C100 to record them and then put them into iMovie to do the following edits so that the film came out would be better to enjoy. I usually upload them on Vimeo or Youtube , occasionally making them to broadcast TV. But those films came as MTS format. So I need to convert them, which I am not willing to. Because I am afraid the quality will lose. Did a quick search on net by “mts conversion canon” and found this Pavtube MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac. It was great and I don’t have to worry about the quality of these converted films.
