I am using
Replay Media Catcher 3.01 and I get the following errors from time to time:
"Unable to save RTMP stream in proper format! Does the file already exist in the storage directory?"
A typical example is the BBC Radio 4 program "in our time". The name as it appears while recording seems to be
Code:
"RBN2_radio_4_fm_-_thursday_0900_b00|16q8_2009_06_18_09_00_30_31B754 CF"
During the download there is the usual target and green arrow to the left of the name. If i select stop and save i get the exclamation mark and the transfer property box says "
Unable to save RTMP stream in proper format! Does the file already exist in the storage directory?"
The file downloads and plays fine (after I add the flv extension), it isn't clipped or damaged in any way. But after RMC fails to get a meaningful file name, it puts up the red exclamation point, and leaves the file without an extension. The target file name is as above. The rename box is disabled so I cannot rename it. I have to go to windows and manually name the file and add an extension.
This is just a nuisance, really, but I'd rather not have to deal with it. At least put the extension on the file name so it can be played.
