Re: TubeDigger review, feedback, suggestions -Download and Record streaming audio & vI am into recording streams for several years. I did try, test and use many apps but the best one you can find at this time is tubedigger ! It is able to record streams from most of the webpages, it has fast and reliable support and it has simple, user friendly GUI.

Re: TubeDigger review, feedback, suggestions -Download and Record streaming audio & vI have a question, does "detect all resolutions/bitrates of video" and "adjust converting quality automatically" happen when the video finishes? Or does it make adjustments when I actually convert/fix them with the convert button?
Thanks |

Re: TubeDigger review, feedback, suggestions -Download and Record streaming audio & vGreat program. I've found that it will often download video where many other programs fail. One issue that I've run into though is if a .flv download is over 4gb then the final file will not save correctly.
I may be answering my own question, having been tinkering with aspects of the settings this afternoon - but is there any way of starting a download mid-way through so I can then join the two sections together with avidemux or somesuch? One time I downloaded the 4gb+ file it seemed to start mid-way through and I stupidly deleted the file, thinking it to be corrupt when I could have used the above method, but I wasn't thinking along those lines, and try as I might - I can't replicate the situation again to snare the "second half" of the file. Thanks in advance. |

Re: TubeDigger review, feedback, suggestions -Download and Record streaming audio & vI tested TubeDigger a few months ago. It worked perfectly fine, the only thing that bothered me was that there was no address bar history, like a real browser has. There were several live broadcasts and certain webcams I frequently wanted to record and I had to keep the urls in a text file and copy/paste the urls into TubeDigger. For many people it might be handy if the textbox gets changed to a combobox. Then save the last 20 or so urls that are copied/pasted into TubeDigger and reload them again at program start. This way previously visited websites can be easily visited again by selecting them from the dropdown list. Just a suggestion.
