Time Limit for RMC (Scheduled recording with Replay Media Catcher)?

Hey, does anyone know if I could somehow set a time limit to my Replay Media Catcher, so I could leave and let it catch stream, and it would stop by itself after a set period of time?

Thanks

There isn't a way to do this with Media Catcher. If you're looking to schedule recordings check out Replay A/V.

Re: Time Limit for RMC (Scheduled recording with Replay Media Catcher)?

tasha how do schedule a recording with replay av?

I've tried to record a live stream using the program and gave up because the media guide in av doesn't have the tv channels i want to record from.

I've tried recording from seeon which is like justintv and got nowhere with it.

seeon.tv uses RTMP streams. Replay AV doesn't support such streams, but Replay Media Catcher (RMC) 4 can download or capture them. RMC 4 has a scheduler as well.

Re: Time Limit for RMC (Scheduled recording with Replay Media Catcher)?

But doesn't Replay Media Catcher scheduler doesn't have an end time, it only has a start time...or at least my version can start it and if i want to stop it i have to adjust the size of the file I download to a certain size for it to stop. hmm kinda sucks XD! it seems too much work and i'm too lazy and idiotic for that kinda of stuff...yeah i know i suck hopefully Replay AV, in the future will support RTMP.

Haven't used the scheduler of Replay Media Catcher 4 yet. But it seems it can stop downloading after the entered number of minutes:

As for the RTMP support in Replay AV, I suggest to voice your opinion in the following thread:
