thumbplay.com: How to download/capture music (not record from sound card)

How to download/capture music from Thumbplay Music? Please do not suggest me software that records from sound card. I want to get perfect digital copies of music streams on my harddrive.

Re: thumbplay.com: How to download/capture music (not record from sound card)

hi

i have just written some comments on Thumbplay here:
http://stream-recorder.com/forum/thu...iew-t7737.html.

After reading that post you will agree that downloading TPM (thumbplay music) tracks to hdd is not the best idea and there is little justification to spend the time and efforts to write a detailed tutorial for capturing their 96kbps tracks. I dont bother downloading Myspace tracks either (which are in 96kbps too, as we now know).

Have you already tried blader.exe?
Just tell us which tools you have already tried on the service (and with which program settings), and i could help you with troubleshooting. My TPM trial is still running for a couple of days.

Btw, there is an official download button on your mobile device anyway: http://vimeo.com/13857334. Transfer the file then from the cache to your hdd. simple!! (The point is, on the PC, and *AFAIK*, the TPM-sw (or your PC) does not temporarily cache the audio (data packets). Which means, after listening to a full-length track, there is no trace left on your hdd, and also during the listening time nothing is stored/saved on hdd.)

i will definitely quit the service after the trial. and then i go back to my beloved eMusic and iTunes. Maybe some other boardie feels tempted to write some more detailed tutorial for this ****y new subscription service

Good luck!
