Streaming assistance please: stream BBC news to my player like MPlayer

Can anyone here provide assistance with streaming this site please?

I don't want to record, just stream it.
I know, I could just watch via a web browser but I would prefer
to stream it into my prefered media player (mplayer) if possible.
I have rtmpdump.

You can find the URL of the stream by viewing the source of the page. You can also find RTMP URLs with software like freewaer CooJah.

To play RTMP streams on your computer you can use players like Applian FLV Player

Of this I am aware, but due to obfuscation, this is not always easy/straightforward.

You can download with rtmpdump, you can't broadcast with it.
