stream (send the images) from multiple cctv cameras to the internet individually

Hay there, I'm new here.

I've already set up an IP camera before and that has been a great success
_http://www.aquaponiclynx.com/aquaponic-lynx-live-garden-cameras/duck-tv

However, I've promised everyone some fish cameras and I've not found any reasonable underwater IP cameras. So I've got a couple underwater cctv cameras that I've added additional sealing to so that I won't contaminate my fish water with the brass from the housings.

But, I'm having difficulty getting the image up to the internet the way I wish. I've tried the security DVR but that requires a sign in with internet explorer and that is not what I want for this. I want to send the images from multiple cctv cameras to the internet individually.

Now after messing with the DVR and finding that it just didn't want to play with me, I've ordered a couple of those 4 channel usb dvr EasyCap devices.

Help, who has experience with these? How do I even get an image from the camera onto the computer, all I've managed so far is a black screen? Sigh, the instructions that come with it read like they are for a wireless device so I'm wondering if they made a snafu in packaging the software with the device as well?

The camera's work. I've plugged them into the TV and get picture just fine and they have a separate power supply of their own.

When I load the usb device I seem to be getting drivers for imaging devices and in the gaming etc section I get a usb audio device but I'm not getting the video capture device loading in the gaming section as far as I can tell.

I have also tried loading some other software for it from the internet but that didn't seem to work either.

Any ideas or suggestions? (I am interested in video servers but I can't spend thousands of dollars per video channel for this project so it wouldn't have to be budget, only gotten $20 in donations and I've already spent more on hardware than I planned.)

Thanks,
TCLynx

EasyCap comes with Ulead VideoStudio SE. Contact the seller and get the license for it. I remember that one ebay seller was giving a license for VideoGlide instead of Ulead VideoStudio SE.

You can also try to capture video with other software including AmCap, VirtualDub, CaptureFlux, Debut,...

It wasn't an ebay purchase. Amazon. Came with a little disk but the instructions sound like they are for a different product. A wireless camera receiver?

Anyway I have the EasyCAP002 which is the 4 channel plus audio usb device.

I don't think the drivers are installing properly though.

The software application on the little disk is Jin Li Tong, Multiviewer
But I can't get it to find the camera when I plug it into any of the inputs.

Try to contact Amazon support. They are usually good at solving problems.

Is there anyone on here that has used one of these devices? Is it worth the trouble?

Am I going to be able to send out individual video streams from it or am I stuck with the combination 4 images on the screen? (provided I can get it to work in the first place.)

It is a good idea to read reviews of the product before buying. For example, Easycap 002 reviews on Amazon can clarify some things for you:

Additionally, I'm not stating anything new when I inform you that this device does not capture feeds on all four channels simultaneously (hardware, can't work around it), so it renders it practically impossible to ditch the MultiViewer software that comes in the box. Unfortunately, the MultiViewer software does not justify the shortcoming of the hardware: it's buggy and temperamental. It has basic SMTP options for e-mailing "motion" detected and the like, but you have to use an address that doesn't require authentication (Yahoo). I ditched this option and just send timer snaps to my Dropbox account every so many seconds. My version won't even save my settings each time the program is launched, so I have to plug them in manually every time -- fortunately for me, I've been able to work around this with a batch file that ensures optimum settings, enables timer snap, and ensures the program is running constantly. For others that aren't quite so technically inclined, I cannot recommend this product.

I wud have given it a three, but the non-existant support dropped it to a two. The web site sends you to an "unofficial" forum of easy cap users where you can haggle out the problems but there is no direct way to contact them that i am aware of...so, if it works for you out of the box, great...fortunately i learned to buy these as cheap as possible and i didn't spend much so just one input is about what it is worth...

Sigh. Yea I should have I guess. was in a hurry looking for a solution and hadn't gotten much info back from any of the forums I posted on asking for ideas.

I'm open to other ideas too. Want to bring multiple cctv feeds in and then be able to send them out to separate internet pages. Please, any ideas how to manage that? I don't necessarily need some one to tell me how to do it all but I would love for some one to point me at a place to start learning. Or a method that will get me further in a search with some real information.
