How to stream Netflix movies to xbox360

I assume you have a Netflix Unlimited Plan allowing to watch online movies instantly.

You will also need an Xbox Gold Live Subscription, which is not free.

You Can Use A Wireless Adapter To Connect Your Xbox 360

1. Connect your xbox360 to the Internet via an ethernet cable or Wi-Fi connection.
   
   Note that ethernet connection is more reliable and is better for your health
   
   And you can use a wireless adapater for xbox360 to connect to the Internet wirelessly.
   
2. Connetct your xbox360 to TV (read the manual for xbox if needed)
   
3. Log into Netflix, and put a movie or several movies into your "Watch Instantly" queue.
   
   If you click the "Watch Instantly" on the top of the main Netflix page, you will be able to browse all the movies that are available to watch online. Just use the "Add To Instant Queue" option to add movies of your choice.
   
   Please note that you can browse movies and add them to your "Watch Instantly" directly from your xbox360 Live Dashboard.
   
4. After adding online movies to your "Watch Instantly", you need to activate your xbox360 on Netflix.
   
   Turn on your TV and your Xbox 360, sign into your Xbox Live account. Then download a Netflix application to your xbox360 hard drive from the "Spotlight" section. The Netflix Activation Code will be displayed.
   
   On the Netflix website , enter the Activation Code and click the "Activate" button. Your Netflix "Watch Instantly" Queue will be synced with your Xbox Live account.
   
5. Now that your account is activated, go to the Xbox Live menu, and then use your Xbox controller to navigate to the "Video Marketplace" tab. Go to the Netflix page, select it, and you will see the "Watch Instantly" movies of your choice from the the Netflix website. Select a movie or TV show that you want to watch, and it will start playing on your TV.

I just downloaded Netflix on my xbox 360 and i want to watch all the instant movies and shows available but the quality is terrible...it says that its checking the quality but i play games in 1080P but the videos appear to be playing in standard definition. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

Make sure the video that you want to stream is in HD. And make sure that your Internet connection speed is fast enough - you need more than 3 Mbps to watch in HD (you can't do it with DSL connection).
