Sirius online capture and split on song change

Hello,

Has anyone found a program that can record, split, and name correctly songs from sirius internet radio?

If you have sirius online radio, you know that the artist and title are sent along with the the feed, and it would be really really amazing to have these songs labeled and saved on disk as such (as opposed to the not-so-helpful title "Sirius Jul 12.asf" generated by Replay AV).

Thanks for any advise.

Re: Sirius online capture and split on song change

To do this, you will probably need 2 tools, one to split the file and another tool to tag the files. There is a bunch of tools to split the stream but most of these depend on there being silence between songs. You are out of luck since Sirius like most other internet radio stations crossfades songs. This means lots of work to split songs mostly manually. The next step is to tag them. You could try the Winamp autotagging feature.
