FairUse4WM 1.3 error: Failure - Unable to identify RC4 and AES internal keys

I have downloaded FairUse4WM version 1.3, and whenever I try to recover a key, this pops up:

"Extraction in progress on "Indiv01.key" 11.0.6000.6324 -- Please wait.
Phase 0 : Blocks: 1340 Large 0 Small, Errors: 0,0 Candidates: 5,3,2
Failure - Unable to identify RC4 and AES internal keys."

I press OK, and then this comes up:

"FairUse4WM will use a WM-Installed DLL to determine system specific information.
"DrmClien.DLL" has version 10.0.0.3802"

I have no idea what to do. Please help.

Re: FairUse4WM 1.3 error: Failure - Unable to identify RC4 and AES internal keys

FairUse4WM is not compatible with IBX 11.0.6000.6324. See the following thread for more:
FairUse4WM Errors

the newest version of drmdbg works with IBX 11.0.6000.6324 and FairUse4WM 1.4 should support it as well. As soon as it is released I will post about it.

How to use drmdbg.exe
1. Run drmdbg.exe
2. When your Windows Media Player (WMP) opens, add a DRM-protected file to the playlist and tell WMP to start playing.
3. A dialog will pop-up with the KID for the SID, and the KID will also be saved to the key file needed to run drm2wmv.

You can get drmdbg_19062007 at http://www.savefile.com/files/822788

This drmdbg received and united a lot of valuable advice from Mr. taku. Therefore, it opens it to the public as drmdbg of the taku & inoyan version.

It opens it to the public for the time being though the possibility
to be planned easily is large because the confirmation is taken only with IndivBox.key v11.0.6000.6324.

System requirements

1.Win2000,XP?VISTA uncorresponds.
2.Wmp v8 or more(This : because it is the ..can confirmation here.. oldest. )
3.Less than IndivBox.key v10.00.00.3802 or v11.0.6000.6324
4.Only wmp v10.00.00.3650 corresponds when the target is DRM1.

How to use.

1.Drmdbg start
2.Selection -> reproduction of DRM assistant's animation because of start of wmp. Or, it reproduces from "URL is opened".
3.When the console window (DOS screen) is made the foremost side, and KID becomes appropriate. Some keys are pushed. If it is necessary to select this
because KID exists also in CM etc.
4.The message box is displayed, and KID and SID are forwarded to the clipboard. In addition, drm1\drm1-i.key or drm2\drm2-i.key is made on desktop.

- Drmdbg.ini is not used in this taku & inoyan version.

Please inform me if trouble etc. are found.

Re: FairUse4WM 1.3 error: Failure - Unable to identify RC4 and AES internal keys

fu4m13fix2 supports Windows Media Player 11 with IBX up to 11.0.6000.6324 and works with Windows XP, Vista x32/x6.

If your IBX is 11.0.6000.6324 and you receive the following error:
"Failure - Unable to identify RC4 and AES internal keys"
you can:
1. Roll back Windows Media Player to a previous version
2. Install Windows XP (assuming you have your Windows XP install/upgrade disc) on a virtual machine (either VMWare or Microsoft Virtual PC).

Then install lower version of WMP such as WMP 11 beta 2 if required.
After removing DRM from within the Virtual PC you can simply transfer the DRM-free files to your Windows XP/Vista music folder.
