Can't get copy protected CD ripped .WMA files to play with WMP on clean Windows XP

Alright, so I wiped my HDD and migrated all my files to a newly installed copy of tinyXP. The problem is many of my WMA's are copy protected. Well I finally tried downloading a license with Windows media player, and now they won't play at all, it says they're corrupt.

I just want the damn copy protection off them. they're my CDs, my files, I don't understand how this got there.
I'm looking for something that will massively scan my entire 20GB media library, and either convert all WMA's to working MP3s, or strip the copyright protection off of them.

Thanks in advance.
