FairUse4WM: UNABLE TO DECRYPT: Windows Error 80030002 while finding KID in V9 storeIs there a file anywhere that describes how to use the program?
I see references to an 'Extract keys' function, but the program window I get has no menu and no options other than to drag files into the box. How do I engage the 'Extract keys' function? (Or is that the only function?) Using the test demo files: I've tried converting several demo files from ezdrm.com without success. Here's the result from one: \\...\snowboard_300.wmv UNABLE TO DECRYPT: Windows Error 80030002 while finding KID in V9 store. Is this one of the correct files? Should the program be able to extract the keys from the demo files for which we don't have the licenses? Attempting to acquire the licenses to play the demo files seems to require that you purchase their DRM encoder program..... I'm using Win2K with WMP 9... Re: FairUse4WM: UNABLE TO DECRYPT: Windows Error 80030002 while finding KID in V9 stoFirst of all you make sure you use the latest version of FairUse4WM. At the moment it is v1.3 or 1.3 fix.
You may test Fairuse4wm on demo DRM protected files from fairuse4wm.com and ezdrm.com. Note that some WM installations will have multiple ECC key-pairs, so you will likely have to "Extract Keys" using multiple licensed files. If you find a file that doesn't convert, try extracting keys wth it. Once your whole set of keys is extracted, you will no longer need to run WM per file. To remove DRM protection from one-time play license files:
After you re-individualize, try to unDRM your files first, before acquiring any new licenses. If it doesn't work, then try acquiring new licenses. You can also try dropping the files into the list in Fairuse4wm, right-clicking and getting the key info, and then using that with drm2wmv, but it won't work for me (no private key found for the files). You may find more help in the following thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=114916 |

Re: FairUse4WM: UNABLE TO DECRYPT: Windows Error 80030002 while finding KID in V9 stoYou should use fu4m 1.3 fix-2 or at least fu4m 1.3 fix. But even the latest version of fu4wm doesn't work with the latest IBX (How to determine IBX version (WMP 10/11)).
So if fu4m 1.3 fix-2 doesn't work for you, you can try drmdbg with freeme2 or drm2wmv. |
