It is very easy to download http flv video streams:
Getting/Capturing/Downloading .FLV flash videos streamed through the http protocol

I tried Replay Media Catcher and it downloaded http flv video from usopen.org without any problem.

Odd jack.. You dont need any software to download streaming video of any sort.. you browser already does that.. it stores the file in the Cache.. all you need to do is open the cache.. locate the file and play it.. however this is not always easy.. as thee can be hundreds if not thousands of files in the cache. I would recommend you use Opera.. and clear the cache.. ( do a search for cache4, thats the one you want ) open it.. delete all contents.. go to the page you want with the video and open it.. it will download a copy into that cache.. should not be hard to find as it will be a large file.. with a weird name.. have fun.

That's one of the methods of downloading HTTP videos mentioned in our FAQ. There are also many other methods that you can use. There are lots of freeware programs that can download/capture/save/rip/record HTTP videos for you. Some programs can download videos much faster than in Real Time; this is espeically important if your internet connection is slow and/or you need to download/save large videos.

Ask & Record Toolbar is a freeware software that can save HTTP and HTTPS videos for you. Besides saving web videos it allows you to convert them for FREE.
