![]() Re: How to connect DVR via internet to watch CCTV cameras from a remote place (staticThe DVR has default IP and port 80 do i have to change that you mean no i think
# Set router to forward chosen port to internal IP address of DVR. For example: route port 80 to 192.168.1.10. # You have a static IP so you don't need to use sevices like www.dyndns.org How can i set the router to do that And for educational reason i have create a hostname in dyndns.org how can i set it up |

![]() Re: How to connect DVR via internet to watch CCTV cameras from a remote place (staticEvery router is different. There are no any general instructions on how to set up all of them. Manufactures always provide manuals so you should refer to them.
Using dyndns.org with your DVR
Then if your IP address changes, DVR software sends the data to dydns.org and updates it. This allows to access your computer from remote location by using not a weird IP address, but a user-friendly hostname. p.s.Please note that routers can also be configures to work with DDNS (instead of configuring DVR software, you can configure your router). |

I am trying to set up my camera so i can see it from external location. I have a dynamic IP so i created the DynDNS account and went through that configuration......I have a LJD Deltaware Camera and it came with an application I can install to view the cameras. I want to know if I can use this on a WEB INTERFACE because I want to view it online from anywhere instead of having to install this software all the time? When i try to go to my HostName it comes up with error so is there somehting I need to do to see it on IE7 or Firefox etc rather then using that application? I have the 8 channel Dedicated DVR - http://www.adata.co.uk/default.asp?t...28Deltawave%29 Thanks Pranav |
