Re: Saving Windows Media .wmv video stream from Yahoo TVQuote:
p.s. WM Recorder is a unique stream recorder. It can capture packets coming to the Windows Media Player. No other software is that powerfull. |

Recording with WM Recorder in the AUTO modeQuote:
1. Start WM Recorder and turn the AUTO recording mode ON (WM Recorder is very easy to use, but I suggest you to read its user guide anyway) 2. After that (I should repeat, after that) start your browser and navigate to a web-page with the embedded Windows Media Player. Play the stream in the browser. 3. The recording will be done automatically! |

Re: Recording with WM Recorder in the AUTO modeThank you for taking the time to help me here.
Something is wrong still. 1) All browsers shut 2) I run WM Recorder and it's in Mode: PRO - Auto ON - Scheduler OFF 3) I run Firefox and then put it http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/ver/21/...90&src=tv&ch=2 4) I play the video but nothing happens in WM Recorder I've had a look at the User Guide but did not see anything that may stop this working. Any ideas? Thanks again in advance. |

Re: Recording with WM Recorder in the AUTO modeOk I got a bit further.
I tried it in IE 7 and it detected the stream but there were 2 problems. 1) When it started to record it had a message "Cannot find recordings directory" although I have checked and it is there and valid. 2) The stream recieved 0.954 MB and then stopped allthough the clip is much larger than than. |
