Saving song TITLE of the Windows Media streaming audio automaticallyHi there ..
I manage to save successfully the stream of this radio (2kool4radio/Icebergradio) that is encoded in asf . with mplayer in command line mode, but at first I have the problem that is saving, lets say, songs one by one, what i really don't see as a big problem because i can make a script for restarting the download when the first one is finished even i can make obviously to rename the output automatically. But i wonder if somebody knows how can i get the song title or the author from mplayer through the command line or maybe another program so i can for example finish my little script managing properly the file name of the output file and by the way to know exactly what i'm listening to . Cheers . Daniel |

Re: Saving song TITLE of the Windows Media streaming audio automaticallyI haven't seen any stream ripper that can get song titles for Windows Media audio streams.
It seems like the only software that can split and tag songs when recording Windows Media streams is Replay Music. Please note that Replay Music is not a stream ripper software, it just can record any audio from your sound card. |
