Re: Save DivX movie from web player in my I.E. to hard diskI know this is an old thread but it comes up on the google search, so for anyone interested.
If you have watched a DivX movie on the web player then Right click the player -> select "Preferences" and Cache then "Open Cache" folder. Your cached movies are in there. Copy to another location and if necessary rename from *.part to *.avi. It's a *.part until the download's completed. Now you got the movie. Play it in DivX player. The Cache folder on Vista is: C:\Users\Username\Videos\DivX Movies\Temporary Downloaded Files Happy Viewing. |

Re: Save DivX movie from web player in my I.E. to hard diskBesides copying files from the cache of your DivX player, you can find an "http:/// ... .divx" URL with freeware URL Snooper and then download from it with your browser or any download manager.
