Question

Samsung DVR,Netgear Router,Remote computer

Ok gents I'm a new user on here and i need your help. My chief of the fire dept purchased a samsung dvr SDE-400IN with 8 cameras. We connected the DVR to the Netgear Router and we can view the cameras at the station. My chief wants to view the cameras from home and I have been trying to figure out how to set it up for him.
We are not very savy when it comes to networks. I logged into the router to look around and it all looks greek to me. It appears the DVR sets some things up by default. Like port 80, TCP 554 and a IP. How do we set these things up so he can view it from home ? Since he is not on the same network at home, we are not sure how to access the dvr through the router at the fire station. The router has an IP something like 192.168.1.1. The DVR is something like 192.168.1.200. I think those are default.
