RTMPSrv (RTMPDump) output file being overwritten
I have RTMPDumpHelper v1.15 with RTMPDump 2.3 (I know I can upgrade, but this works well enough) and for some reason, whenever I grab an FLV file on RTMPE, it will overwrite the previous file with the same name. Not only will it do it to a previous file, if I somehow duplicate the stream (accidentally refresh the page, it tries to begin the stream again, or load a different video with the same output name) it will overwrite the currently downloading stream. If I let it finish, the final file will be perfectly fine and everything will work. However, it is treating it like 2 separate connections so it's downloading twice as much data to get the file, and sometimes I don't even get one of the videos. Now that's not really the issue, but I know it's happening and is pushing me closer to my cap everytime it does that so it's annoying. What I would like to know, is there a setting somewhere that I can change so it makes a unique filename whenever it tries to download a video or allow me to input a filename before downloading? I've searched before and maybe I was using the wrong terms, but I've only found one instance that makes mention to this exact problem, but it was for RTMPSuck. If you must know where I'm encountering this problem, the site I usually have difficulties with is CrunchyRoll since everything is considered "video.flv" on that site. Occasionally I get the duplicate stream problem from Hulu where it'll refresh the page as I leave (same site, different page, usually going back a page. but not when I close the window) and begin the whole download over again. Not normally an issue since it's at <5%, but then it has to download the entire thing twice, concurrently (sometimes at vastly different rates) and is doubling my internet usage to get a single file. Again, I figured out how to deal with that so that's not what's bugging me, but the same issue still has some weight with my main problem since it's writing to the same file twice.
Basically, can I, or anyone else, edit the program so that it makes a unique name for every file it creates and prevent anything from being overwritten? Would updating to a later version help? I believe I tried 2.5 and it didn't work right so I reverted back to 2.3 that came with RTMPDumpHelper (as far as I know. I could just be using a random ZIP I found for RTMPDump)
