Requesting help saving flash file... from thesinmpsons.com

got it all figured out and finished...

Downloaded the flash, the xml, and all the pictures ((getting the direct addresses to these files was the tricky part here))...

I then ran a swf protection removing program ((not sure it had protection, but ran it just in case))...

I then converted the SWF back to a FLA file...

I then changed the addresses in the FLA file to route directories on my PC..... My system didn't have all the fonts required, so I changed the missing ones to some other types that still look good...

I then converted the FLA to SWF and everything works as it should.

If I knew more about flash I'd mod more settings such as the scroll rate of text, how fast the flash is allowed to load and link the full episodes to the movie player....but all in all, I've gotten what I started out to do.

thanks for the help... even though I didn't use any programs directly... some of the suggestions did point me in other directions that lead to finally finishing this.

You need a flash decompiler like Sothink SWF Decompiler and most probably flash editing program as well. It will be too expensive.
