Is Replay Media Catcher the best recorder overall or the money?I am considering buying the Replay Media Catcher 3 recorder and have been evaluating the trial version. I find that I am unable to predict when it will record and when it will not. I am very interested in finding out how to record https video and audio files. Can you explain how to do this and also do any of your other recorders have this capability. Is this the best recorder overall or the money? Thanks for your help.

Re: Is Replay Media Catcher the best recorder overall or the money? It is pretty hard to suggest the best recorder. None of them is perfect. And it really depends on the web-sites you need to record from, because web-sites use different streaming formats and protocols.
Please read the following: - The Best streaming media recorders - Noobish questions: What to choose, Jaksta or Replay Media Catcher? I should add that GetFLV can record videos protected with RTMPE secure protocol and SWF verification. Replay Media Catcher and Jaksta can't do that anymore because these companies are based in the U.S. GetFLV and nobody knows how long the company will be able to sell and support the product, but add at the present time it works great with many sites. |
