Removing FileOpen Encryption from a pdf

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I am thoroughly pissed. I bought a catalog on CD in 2008, installed it on my pc. It used file open to install with the orderid on the cd case. No problem until I tried to reinstall this week on my new computer. Seems the publisher no longer supports the cd so I cannot install it anywhere else. When I try to install the cd I end up at a page of the publisher that simply says hello. smart axes. Support says that I need to contact the people I bought it from 5 years ago. Good luck with that. They are of no help so I am stuck trying to hack the encryption off the dozen pdf files that make up the OLD out of date catalog. Anyone have any help or suggestions? I will never buy from these people again.

Thanks

Rick
