Remove protection from FLV Files (FlashAccessv2, Version EncryptionAlgorithm AES-CBC)Hey guys,
I have been trying to find a solution to these Protected files from digitaltutors.com they changed there protection on there flv files to something different I can watch it on there site but not from a player on my pc, I had opened the flv in C++ and found out it was using something called FlashAccessv2, Version EncryptionAlgorithm AES-CBC EncryptionParams I can open it up in Adobe Player but it asks for a Username and Password. I think it uses a DRM but I really dont know, I could record my desktop and play it but that is abit of a hassle to do. If there is another way around there codes that would be great! Thanks! |

Re: Remove protection from FLV Files (FlashAccessv2, Version EncryptionAlgorithm AES-I have problem downloading CityTV video stream protected with FlashAccess DRM. Is there any way to strip/remove FlashAccess DRM (FlashAccessv2) without using a screen recorder?

Re: Remove protection from FLV Files (FlashAccessv2, Version EncryptionAlgorithm AES-You've got me curious.
Can you link me to an example of one of these "encrypted" FLV files? I'll take a look at it and see what I can figure out. (Oh, and if there's a login that I can't just go sign up for, I would need that too) My guess is that the login would only be required on the webpage itself (like if you were to save the .swf that contains the movie player etc), but the video itself shouldn't be - even with encrypted RMTP streams, it's possible to download them unencrypted. Or something like SWF Decompiler may be another option. So yeah, give me a link to one of these videos (or at least the site hosting it), so I can try it myself and see what I can find. No promises though |

Here is an example with a detailed rtmpdump log: Problem getting CityTv streams to play or download |

Re: Remove protection from FLV Files (FlashAccessv2, Version EncryptionAlgorithm AES-Darn it, problem with CityTV is it's exclusive to Canada. I'm trying with a proxy, but it seems to not play the videos most of the time...
GetFLV can at least find the RMTP streams, it just won't download them as the videos won't play due to me living in America. Anybody know of any USA or not-region-locked sites I could try with? |

Re: Remove protection from FLV Files (FlashAccessv2, Version EncryptionAlgorithm AES-I tried using a proxy. It's weird, the advertisements would play but the video itself would just be a black screen.
It worked in Firefox, though. Which doesn't support FLV downloaders (At least the 'good' ones like GetFLV and StreamTransport use IE) |
