Remote recording of surveillance footage. Any software that can record such streams?

Hey all,

I live in Brazil and am working for a Surveillance company. Since Brazil sucks in surveillance I am looking for some abroad help. My comany offers RVM. All of our customers can already see on our site their cameras and etc. What we are lacking is how to record these streams remotly on our Servers. We want to record 15days of Surveillance footage. After 15days we back everything up on DVD. I have no idea how to solve this... is there some sort of surveillance software that records the streams?

I don't really have any good recording solution for remote locations. You should probably backup your DVR recordings onto DVDs.

I was suggested to use Slingbox with At-Large Recorder for recording such streams. It might be a good solution, but ATM I can't test it myself.
