Recording Sanstream Files (from proprietary .AVI player)

Hi, I'm having problems recording Sanstream files, these are streaming video files used in Japan / Korea. I've tried WinPCap to look for the URL, it doesn't show up. Most downloaded video stream recorders don't pick up anything either. Tried to look at the source code and an .avi file is referenced, but I can't seem to modify the URLs to get to it.

Any tips? I've read the stickys and looked through the forum but can't find anything. If someone manages to successfully record this... please let me know!

Thanks.

Re: Recording Sanstream Files

They use a proprietary player that gets the video file via TCP connection. I doubt that it can be recorded.

It buffers the stream however I haven't found any media files in the cache folder of my browser.

You may use screen video capture program to record such streams.
