Recording QT Subscription Stream (lynda.com and apex.vtc.com)Hi,
I've tried out a lot of the stream recorder programmes and they work great with everything except the one thing I want them too! I recently bought a month's subscription to an online tutorial site, www.lynda.com and am also looking at getting one from http://apex.vtc.com . However I can't seem to record any of the streams, even if they or a link of sorts does show up in say, URL Snooper or MovRecorder. They are in QuickTime format. I was wondering would someone know why this is? Can they be recorded or will I just have to watch what I want to in the first month and hope it all sticks!? Thanks in advance, Last edited by Stream Recorder : 03-19-2007 at 12:09 AM. Reason: Adding links to URLSnooper and MovRecorder |

Re: Recording QT Subscription StreamThanks for that. Sorry for not noticing that thread before now. It works a treat, I just still have the problem with the Lynda.com tutorials, they also seem to create a temporary file in the old QT version, which I can copy, but only the audio will play (in Winamp) but has click or pop sounds all the way thourgh. Sorry for more questions! Thanks again, really appreciate the help so far.

Re: Recording QT Subscription StreamUnfortunately there are no QT stream recorders as powerful as WM Recorder with Windows Media streaming.
But you may always use a screen video capture program to record such problematic streams. And feel free to ask more! We're here to help recording streaming content! |
