Recording gameplays on the xbox 360 (HDMI)Hi there!
I'm new to this forum, but before I begin, I have read the stickies in this board. I don't know diddly squat about HDMI or any other fancy format Just so you know Just like everyone else, I want to record XBox 360 gameplays. My 360 is hooked up to my HDTV with the RGB wires into the Components section. Pictures of the back of my TV are attached. Yes, I read about Blackmagic Intensity Pro and what it's capable of. But it seems to me that it's for PCs that DO NOT have an HDMI port. Am I right? If yes, then that brings up my next point - my laptop has an HDMI port. My TV does as well. (See attachments in this thread) I know I need a screen capture utility. No worries there. So do I need just an HDMI cable that connects my TV to my laptop? Or am I totally overlooking something? I'm probably sounding really stupid, but I have absolutely NO idea how to get this going (which is why I'm posting here ) Thanks for all the help in advance! -Mikey |

Re: Recording gameplays on the xbox 360 (HDMI)Usually HDMI ports on PCs are used to ouput video and sound only. I haven't seen any laptops with an HDMI input.
You don't need to buy screen video capture software to use it with Blackmagic Intensity Pro. Please read the following post http://stream-recorder.com/forum/sho...12&postcount=2 and let me know if you need more help |
