FLV Recorder didn't do anything on that site, whereas Bit Recorder did download the file but totally failed to save it!

Thanks for the link to the other thread. I'm so glad there's an online community dedicated to this! =)

You think? If you don't know what version you have, who does? If you don't have at least v3.0 then that could definitely be the problem.

I was able to capture any of the videos you can see or go to without logging in. If you are talking about videos that require a log in, then why wouldn't you have said that to begin with?

PS - Oh now I see what this is all about ... IT'S SPAM!!! lembug is a spammer! He has no problem capturing the videos on this site, he is spamming this site. In order to login, you must subscribe which requires the expenditure of money via a credit card.

You're logged in and just seconds away from accessing our Video Training Center. To activate your subscription, simply complete the form to the right and agree to our terms and conditions to have unlimited access to every video in our archive and all new videos as long as you're a subscriber ... then you are required to pay at least $9.99. Tell you what lemburg, provide me with your usernameassword and I'll capture each of the videos you desire for $5.00 cash each (USD) using RMC v3.0.

Re: How to capture adobe flash player 9 movies

Are you freakin' KIDDING me?

I couldn't care less if you subscribe to learncapoeira. In fact is is ME who is trying to learn the art, not you. So why would I try to convince you to sign up? I don't think the website does an affiliate program, and besides I haven't been giving you a referal link or anything have I? So how could I possibly stand to gain from spamming this website?

Yes it is Replay Media Catcher (RMC) 3.0.1 that I had. I am using Windows XP, Mozilla Firefox 3.0.3.

I'm pretty sure you're just messing around with me, to be honest. But still. If I wanted to spam that website I'd go to somewhere that it was somewhat relevant, like a martial arts forum or a sports forum or something. NOT a video stream recording forum.

Finally, YES I DO have problems capturing the videos. I'm talking about the videos you get when you log in, but I have the exact same problem as the free sample videos. They are both delivered in the same format, so there is no reason why I should specify because they should both require the same method, right?

Whenever someone reports success with a particular program I download the demo and try it on the publicly accessbile portions of the site, without logging in. I haven't had any luck.

Anything else, katmando?

Re: How to capture adobe flash player 9 movies

I'm sorry SR, it was just such a shock to be accused to spamming!

I am genuinely interested in downloading the videos (and learning capoeira, as it happens). I'm totally gutted that you guys can download them with Bit Recorder and FLV Recorder and Replay Media Catcher and I can't. I've emailed RMC support to see if they can find a solution, so far no luck!

If I don't get any further by the weekend, I'll try WM Recorder, that seems to be the best option for me if recording the stream doesn't work.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Recording flash rtmp:// streams from Adobe Flash Player at learncapoeira.com

I tried Replay Media Catcher 3.0.1 and it recorded free rtmp:// .flv video stream from the homepage of learncapoeira.com without any problem. And it has even renamed the video properly after recording!

p.s. Please notice that WM Recorder is a stream ripper software and WM Capture is a screen capture software.

both recorders are from streamingstar, but i'm not sure if they are the same engine,i guess not, because they havent updated the flv recorder yet.
i think its much easier to use when you all need to do is one-click,you do not need to setup any settings,i tried RMC,there are too many options in the setting box,i dont know what to choose or what not

it didnt happen to me,it works fine perfectly to me,except you have to wait a bit longer to wait the file to be saved.

Re: Recording flash rtmp:// streams from Adobe Flash Player at learncapoeira.com

Bit of an update! I tried it on another computer... RMC works fine! But the page gets incredibly busy in the evenings (or perhaps my connection slows down, either way) so I'll try it again in the morning.

Thanks for the help everyone!

With Replay Media Catcher all I need to do is to click the record button. I don't need to setup anything to record most streams. As for the Bit Recorder I have to choose a network adapter, and it is fine for me, but newbies can have lots of problems with that. And I wish BitRecorder could record anything for me at all.
