Re: How to download/record/capture Russell Brand's BBC radio shows

I download/capture radio shows from BBC using Replay Media Catcher and WM Recorder. You can also try any other RTMP Flash stream recorder

They are no longer avalible on the BBC website as he got sacked unless you can find someone who recorded the whole shows.. There is a website that archived all his old podcasts but I cant find it at the moment.

Re: ripping from BBC radio4

Hello everybody,

Thanks for the nice post. I want to rip BBC radio programs off the Radio 4 website and make audi CDs of them that will play in my music system. I would want to do it from the links that point at previously broadcast programs rather than the live feed. Has anybody done this or do they have advice on how to do it? I downloaded a free Real Audio ripper from somewhere but got nowhere with it. I do not mind paying a little for a tool that works.

Thanks lot

I don't have any problem recording RTMP streams from BBC using Replay Media Catcher 4 and WM Recorder 14. There are lots of other programs you can try:

And you can to capture RTMP streams in real time while you watch them using freeware CooJah (without Blader), Orbit Grab Pro, shareware Replay Media Catcher (in the RTMP recording mode), WM Recorder (in the Loopback mode). Capturing can be done in real time only, but allows you to stay undetected.

If you use Linux, try rtmpsrv or rtmpsuck.
