How to read Adobe Digital Editions ebooks on Apple iPad (iBooks)

iBooks allows to read books from iBookstore. But you can also read DRM-free PDF and ePub ebooks with it.

Adobe Digital Editions uses DRM-protected PDF and ePub files. To read them on your iPad, you need to remove DRM protection first.

An eBook comes in different formats and the Apple iPad native eBook format is EPUB. Adobe digital editions are PDF that have digital rights management (DRM) that restrict how the files can be used.
