radio ripping vs. buying tunes from music download services and music shopsHi!
I' ve tried some of these programs, but i finally decided to stick with RadioTracker. Besides the fact that it searches 15,000 Internet radio stations for music, it also currently tracks, among these internet radio stations, around approx 5,000 Internet radio stations that broadcast at 128 kbit/s quality and higher. Most music shops offer WMA and MP3 downloads at 128 kbit/s quality. Unlike most music shops, Radiotracker lets you choose superior quality levels reaching as high as 192, 256 or even 320 kbit/s. But I must say the the best feature is the MusicFinder's wish list function. You just fill in the desired artists or songs and as soon as they are played on one of the Internet radio stations, Radiotracker starts downloading and in just a few seconds you will be able to listen to your favorite music. |

There are many good reasons to buy music:
In many case songs at radio stations are overlapped. You can't split such songs correctly. Besides when ripping music from online radio stations sometimes you have to deal with buffering due to server overload, network congestion,... Most radio stations broadcast mp3 files at a bit-rate of 96-128 kbps. While music download and subscription services offer higher qualite MP3, WMA, AAC files with a bit-rate of 192 kbsp and higher. Advertising your software by misleading is totally wrong! |
